Copics vs Prisma Markers Help

Journal Entry: Sat Nov 7, 2009, 12:41 AM
  • Mood: Love
I would like to know your views on these markers, please tell me the pros and cons of each, and which one YOU prefer to use yourself. Im trying to decided on which one to go with. I have bought a few and am testing them out, but would like those who use them regularly or semi-regularly to tell me which ones you prefer and why, and perhaps tell me something I dont know about one or the other :D This marker thing is VERY VERY new to me!!! So help a fellow artist out :D Thank you!

Thanks for the watch!

Good drawing skill..have you tried experimenting with acrylic painting? I see a lot of pencil crayon colour work, which is how I used to work, but I found greater depth and colour "punch" as well as tighter finish with paint (which I use to complete all my professional pieces). Acrylic to me is the most versatile medium available to a traditional artist. It can be like oil, watercolour, animation-cell-flat, airbrush....the list goes on. I am trying out digital, but I still want to emulate my acrylics..just faster and so I can make more late changes.

Sorry to go on. Hope this helps inspire a little.
